Swing Diameter Calculator
Identify Point A as the mount’s center of rotation—the intersection of the RA and DEC axes. Measure a straight line from A to the furthest part of your rig, either Point B1 (the front of the telescope), Point B2 (including your flat panel in the open position, as shown in the diagram), Point C (the rear of the telescope, including any connectors or cable length that protrudes), or Point D. (bottom of the counterweight bar or lowest counterweight). The longer of A→B1, A→B2, A→C, or A→D is your swing radius (R).
For safety, add a small margin (about 1–2 inches / 25–50 mm) to account for cable slack, focuser travel, or minor positioning differences.

Telescope inspection & cleaning: Every eight weeks, our team inspects and gently cleans your telescope and accessories—including surface dust removal and cable checks—so your setup stays in top condition.
DSPR membership also includes access to our 30″ Obsession Dobsonian telescope for in‑person guided viewing (by DSPR/AP staff or members).

Concierge Install:

Self-Install Support:
Prefer to set up your own gear? Stay in our on-site clubhouse, borrow tools, and get hands-on help as needed—all at no extra cost during your setup window.
