The technical staff at DSP Remote are top-notch and very responsive to client issues. It was impractical for me to deliver my kit personally, so I shipped it to them and they set it up perfectly. Later on my aging mount developed issues and they recommended a replacement mount more suited to robotic operation. They swapped out the old mount, installed the new, and had me up and running without the loss of any dark sky imaging time.

I've been at Deep Space Products Remote for near 3 years now, hosting my RC 12 and TAK FSQ-85 telescope combo. The installation there was painless and the folks there have been extremely helpful and courteous. Hosting complex equipment hundreds of miles from home will need some on-site attention from time to time. Every time I've needed help, the help was delivered quite promptly. Nice location. I installed my imaging rig at DSPR about 15 months ago. It was my first time trying remote imaging and it was a huge success. 6 months later I brought another system and got a nice discount for renting a second pier. The team onsite is extremely knowledgeable in all technical aspects across a wide range of equipment and brands. And of course, the dark skies in the desert are breathtaking. They let you bring and install your equipment and stay overnight in an onsite clubhouse which is much better than some hotels I have stayed in. And being onsite is my favorite part of the process together with a trip by car thru deserts of California, Arizona and New Mexico. I secretly look for a reason to visit DSPR again and again, but technical staff onsite do not give me too many chances fixing all kinds of random issues the same day I report them. I’m a happy customer and highly recommend this observatory to everyone.
